Gina stood in the shower and let the water come over her like a waterfall; her emotions and troubles seemed to wash away in the presence of water. It was something that became most refreshing to her on numerous occasions, especially one such as today. Gina had been on vacation for a while and hadn't been to work for some time now. Thing is she didn't want to take any vacation time, but due to some legal jargon it was mandatory for her to take the time off from work. Pity too for she had so many cases to work on - cases that involved specials such as herself.
The warm water had done its magic so the woman decided to jump out of the shower and get ready to head into the office. Stepping out of the tub and grabbing hold of the towel that laid folded on her sink, Gina dappled herself down until the only thing wet on her body was her hair. Wrapping the towel around her head and heading into her bedroom, the conflicted woman stood in front of her closet (naked, mind you) contemplating what she she should wear on her first day back to work since vacation? With her hands to her waist, Gina released a heavy sigh as she slowly began to pace back and forth in front of the closet. Finally she decided to go with a black knee length skirt, loose white blouse, and a pair of closed toe high heels; she'd be going back looking like she had never left...whatever that meant.
Grabbing the clothes and tossing them on the bed to the side of her, the woman began to unravel the towel upon her head and began to use it to dry her her more efficiently. Heading back to the bathroom she grabbed a bottle of lotion and began to apply the moist vanilla scented substance on to her body. After making sure every inch of her body was supplied with a nice portion of vanilla moisture, Gina headed back to her bedroom and started to dress herself - an act the didn't take too long to accomplish. Taking a gander at the the silver wrist watch sitting on her messy bed she took notice that she had less than an hour to make it to work. So without wasting another minute the woman placed on her wrist watch, added some small accessories, grabbed her keys and purse, and headed out the door.
The bus drive to the place was not a long one, but it wasn't one that necessarily took her to her job either. The bus stopped about a block away from the building she needed to be at so her feet were usually in pain during this point of the day. Gina started to wonder if she should perhaps use her ability to avoid walking that long distance? 'No', she thought to herself as she inhaled deeply and continued to walk towards the building. Once she reached her destination, she pressed down against her skirt and slowly but surely made her way into the building with a huge smile on her face.
"Hello everyone," she said almost painfully cheerful. "I know you've all missed me, and you'll be glad to hear that I have as well." Adding on to her somewhat oddball humor, she closed her eyes and in-took a large amount of air through her nostrils. "Ahh...it's good to be back." Walking confidently towards the elevator, she pressed the button that lead to her office upstairs on the 4th floor.

Sam awoke violently to the resounding sound of his alarm clock. Deeply, Sam breathed inwards as he wiped the beads of sweat that had formed upon his brow during his slumber. Although he had been out west for sometime, he still found himself unable to become accustomed to the hot, dry weather that flourished within the Western part of the United States. It was nearly time for Sam to get ready for work. Although he enjoyed his job, Sam was not very fond of getting up early and begrudgingly moved accordingly.
With a slight sigh, Sam began to stir from his bed and stood upon his wooden floor. Slowly, Sam began to stretch his body by performing a varying selection of stretches that released a good amount of tension from his legs, arms and other parts of his body. Feeling a little more awake, dropped to the floor and began his morning regiment of exercises by starting with push ups. With each descent closer to the ground, Sam smiled and breathed deeply as he pushed himself back upwards. Although he didn't really like waking up early, beginning the day with a few exercises helped him get started and become a little more awake.
Upon hastily finishing his slew of exercises, Sam moved to the bathroom. Immediately, he turned on the shower faucet and allowed the water to warm for a moment. While he stood within the bathroom impatiently, Sam massaged the back of his right knee and felt it soothingly. His bursitis hadn't been acting up this morning, and Sam was rather grateful for the momentary peace, thus far. Quickly, the young man focused his attention back towards the shower and practically jumped into the water. Swiftly, Sam bathed himself and promptly turned off the water and returned to his bed room where he threw on a pair of his more comfortable jeans and a nice button down shirt.
As Sam finished getting dressed, he eyed the alarm clock which signaled him to move faster than he had been. Hastily, Sam collected his phone, wallet and car keys, and made his way towards the door while grabbing an apple on the way out. While Sam moved down his drive way he eyed one of his two beautiful vehicles. Although Sam simply adored driving, he loved driving his 1988 deep blue Corvette even more. Slickly, Sam slipped into the driver's seat and was on his way down the driveway and nearing the highway. With a smile on his face, Sam knew what awaited him and loved it. As he turned his vehicle onto the expressway, Sam could hardly help to chuckle as he let his engine roar and began to weave in and out of traffic on his way to work at the Sharp Agency.
With an easy commute, Sam pulled into the parking lot in record timing and speedily exited his car, not before locking it securely. Smoothly, Sam walked into the lobby, his apple in hand, and smiled, which soon turned into a frown as he eyed the elevator door closing ahead of him. Although he didn't mind the walk up the stairs, it occasionally aggravated his bursitis, so if he could prevent it at all, Sam definitely would attempt to do so. Hurriedly, Sam moved towards the closing elevator and called out to the young woman residing inside. "Hey! Hold that door, just a second, please!"

Gina stood patiently inside the elevator sliding slender fingers through her jet black hair, waiting for the doors to shut and take her towards her desired destination. Adjusting the placed firmly on her shoulder, she found herself contemplating what the first thing she would do once she began working again? She imagined her phone would be jammed packed with messages from people who she had been helping for the past couple of months. Or perhaps with people who were looking for help though she wasn't their to assist in any way. Whatever the case, she knew that with her return to work things would run a lot more efficiently.
Sharp Agency may not have been the best job in the world, but it most certainly was the only place doing things to help people in need...people like her. Looking over at the elevator button, she wondered how so many thoughts could have passed through her mind yet the elevator door has yet to close.
"Come on," Gina mumbled to herself as she compulsively began to press the button to the 4th floor. Not too soon after her little tirade with the elevator button, the doors finally gave in and began to close - but of course there was something that hindered them to close completely.
"Hey! Hold that door, just a second, please!" Asked the man in the distance quickly making his way towards her. Gina rushed over to the door and tried to push it to the side, however the weight of the door caught her off guard and nearly made her fall over on herself. Not to say she was a weakly woman in terms of strength but she wasn't the hulk either - especially not without her coffee.
"Hurry!" she exclaimed in a frustrated chuckle, waiting for the man to make his way to her.

Sam moved hastily as he continued towards towards the elevator and smiled greatly as he noticed that the woman inside the elevator had heard him and had stopped the doors from closing. Or so it appeared, until Sam gave the young woman a second look and realized what exactly was going on. While the woman seemed to be somewhat petite, the elevator also appeared to be malfunctioning and was closing even though she had stepped in front of it. With a mixture of frustration and humor, the young woman looked to Sam and told him to hurry.
Without a moments hesitation, Sam left his hurried walk and broke out into a sprint as he raced towards the elevator door. It wasn't exactly a long distance to travel, but Sam didn't want the woman to get hurt. Soon enough, Sam reached the woman who was struggling with the elevator. Without putting much thought into it, Sam put his hands against the metal door and threw his shoulder into it. Budging slightly, the door began to give way, much more than Sam had actually expected it to. With the majority of his momentum centered in one direction, Sam stumbled awkwardly into the elevator as the door gave way.
Quickly, Sam regained his composure and righted his center of balance as he stood within the confines of the tiny box. Sheepishly, Sam smiled as he turned his attention to the woman within the elevator. She looked exceedingly familiar and Sam was fairly sure she worked at Sharp, too. Although he was sort of bad with putting names to faces, Sam thought he remembered the woman's name. While he didn't want to call her the wrong name, he didn't want to look like a complete moron either. Without pausing much further, Sam continued to grin like a fool and spoke to the young woman beside him. "Thanks... It's Gina, right? I'm terrible with names, I'm sure I've met you before..."

"Thanks... It's Gina, right? I'm terrible with names, I'm sure I've met you before..." the man said as he entered the elevator.
"Yes, Gina Batzul," she responded softly. "I work on the second floor. I wanna say I've seen you there, but I'm not entirely sure..." Gina steps back, flipping her hair out of her face using her hands, the young woman gave a small smile at the man as she tittled her head and squinted her eyes towards him. It was unclear to Gina whether or not she had met the man before, but if she did the meeting must have been short and sweet. Not a lot of people she met left an impression on her, though it striked her as odd that an employee of hers could have slipped through the cracks (so to speak).
"Umm...Kam, was it?" Gina asked unsure and slightly embarrassed that she had forgotten. She hated to make people feel bad and she hoped the man wouldn't be upset at the fact she couldn't exactly remember his name. Perhaps this time she could get a good grasp on it and use it correctly when they met again in the office. "I'm sorry...I'm terrible with remembering names and such." Giving a minut chuckle, she extended her hand while keeping her purse planted firmly on her shoulder. "In any case, its nice to meet you again."
