/// SPECIAL ABILITY
Stochastic Stride/Serendipitous Walk – Sully has the ability to just be really, really lucky all the time. Well, at least while he’s moving. When in motion, a stochastic field of good luck envelops him and a small area around him that just makes everything go… well, right for him. If he were being shot at, the bullets would miss; if there were an explosion, he could walk out unscathed; if something were falling, it would miss; if he had to pick something up while running, he’d accomplish in glorious fashion.
Additionally, he can share this stochastic field with anyone touching him and moving with him. However, if the touch is broken between Sully and the other individuals, their stochastic fields immediately collapse and allow them to come into great danger.
Though his power is, scientifically speaking, called the “stochastic stride” or “serendipitous walk,” Sully prefers to call it simply “The Walk,” or “The Swagger” when he’s feeling particularly cheeky.
/// ABILITY LIMITS
The key to his power is remaining in motion, even if it’s just a slow walk. Anything slower will weaken the stochastic field, and a dead stop will eventually result in the field’s collapse. After the field is erected around his form, he will have about ten seconds of completely safety after coming to a complete stop. After 15 seconds, near misses start becoming near hits (i.e. if someone were shooting at his chest, they’d hit him in one of his extremities; explosions/fire would start scorching clothes and singeing ), and 20 seconds results in the field’s total collapse and his complete vulnerability to the dangers of the surrounding environment.
Making Sully useless is as simple as restricting his movement in any way possible.

/// PERSONALITY
Sully is a cool guy. Worse yet, he knows that he’s a cool guy. In fact, he’s kind of a jerk about it, pushing his coolness on everyone all the time. At least, what he thinks is coolness. He’s a little bit forward, kind of hot-headed, and really does love being the center of attention. He knows that he’s a good guy, and instead of being humble about it like most good guys would do, he goes around making sure that everyone knows that he’s a good guy.
Sully is incredibly laid back, chill, down to earth, and a bunch of other adjectives that describe his general demeanor. This is partly because he really has no reason to worry about anything, as he is extremely sociable and skilled at making friends, but also because his ataraxia does not allow him to worry about, well, pretty much anything. This is kind of a double edged sword, in that it does allow him an advantage in tense situation, it does make him seem a little awkward: I mean, who would really trust someone that’s completely calm when a building is falling down around them? This is not to say that Sully is devoid of emotion. He still feels the good kinds of emotions, and the angry kinds of emotions, just not really anything that causes a lingering anxiety about things.
Underneath of the jerky exterior, though, is a pretty nice guy. Apart from the fact that most of the time he’s tipsy from drinking too much (he likes the drink and doesn’t really worry about the ramifications of his drinking: who has time to worry about these things!?), he’s very easy to be around. He sometimes doesn’t tell the truth, but usually only to make himself sound cooler than he already is, or to extract information from someone if he needs it. He’s not one to lie maliciously. He usually acts goofy and carefree, giving him somewhat of a childish outlook on life.
When it comes to doing things, Sully is more of the act-fast-and-ask-questions-later type, preferring to jump into things head first without looking rather than spending a ton of time thinking about the danger involved. Besides, why would someone who is inexplicably lucky worry about the danger in something?
Likes~
- Hawaiian Shirts – When it comes to being comfortable, there aren’t too many things that are more comfortable than a loose, flowery shirt full of bright colors and thin fabric.
- Gummy Bears – Come one, seriously. Who doesn’t love gummy bears?
- Videogames – When to come to useless knowledge, Sully is an expert in this category. He’s been playing for as long as he can remember, and has no intention on stopping. Who cares if people think he’s immature? Whatever.
- Bacardi Superior Rum – Mmmmmm.
- Being a Good Guy – Sully gets a kick out of being the good guy, and will do his best to make sure everyone knows that he’s a good guy and that he loves doing it.
- Himself – For better or worse, Sully really likes himself.
Dislikes~
- Uncomfortable Shoes – As Sully tends to do a lot of walking (har har), he is very particular about the kinds of shoes he wears. Uncomfortable shoes just plain piss him off.
- People that Don’t Like Him – He can’t really understand why anyone wouldn’t like him. He’s just so rad.
- Melty Gummy Bears – You know when you leave gummy bears out in the sun, or on top of something really hot, and they get all sticky and gross and stuff? Yeah, Sully hates that.
- Music that he finds annoying – Sully has pretty picky tastes when it comes to… well, pretty much anything really, but especially music. If it annoys him, he won’t listen to it. And if he can’t not listen to it, then he’ll tell someone it sucks.
- Rational, Planned Action – Would someone that has the impossible occur all around him all the time really give any stock into rational thought? It’s not to say that he’s illogical, or even irrational for that matter, but thinking too far ahead just doesn’t sit right with Sully.
Strengths~
- Strength – It seems pretty logical to call his strength a strength. Uh, yeah. That makes sense. Anyways, Sully is a strong guy.
- Ataraxia – Though it is also a flaw, Sully’s ataraxia can enable him to endure circumstances and conditions that most others would crumble in.
- Extremely Sociable - Sully loves to talk, and he loves to tal ka lot. Though he can seem somewhat abrasive, he is extremely talkative and will make friends with pretty much everyone. Unless he pisses them off, which does happen from time to time.

Flaws~
- Ataraxia – Though it is also a strength, Sully’s ataraxia can sometimes make him seem arrogant, off-putting, or even just downright weird. I mean, who doesn’t worry when walking into a firefight? A crazy person, that’s who.
