Personality: Francisca, in the days of yore, had quite the active social life, with endless resources for entertainment and friendship at all hours of the day. Then, in a few months' time, things changed-- though not exactly for the worst, as some might say. Since her life suddenly gained new angles, her supportive, enthusiastic side now hides behind curtains of detachment and caution that, previously, had played no role in her life. Deception and lies covering her back, keeping her secrets under lock and key, the thoughts she once spoke freely have turned vague and mysterious.
Appearance: Frankie is a young African-American woman with a light, fawn-brown skin tone, deep brown doe-like eyes, and short, permed black hair in a ruffled boyish cut. Her round face features a pair of expressive eyebrows, a nose edging toward the broad side, and plump lips that readily form an impassive grin. High cheekbones stand out above the mild roundness of her cheeks, a gentle nub of a chin that hardly protrudes from her jawline. She rises to an average five feet, five inches in height with a strong, modestly curvy build, and a tattoo of a white dove bearing an olive branch on her left shoulder blade.
Her clothes are lightweight and breezy most of the time, in order to cope with soaring Arizona temperatures. Swearing that long pants are to be used only at night or during cold spells, she spares her own suffering in the heat by adding shorts and capris as a staple to her usual garb, along with stylish sandals or sneakers. She would add loose blouses or tank tops with a girlish touch, and for these she tends to choose pale hues joined by colorful and creative logos, graphics, or patterns. Lipstick and mascara, in most cases, are her only makeup choices to complement her looks.
Powers/Abilities:
By envisioning the full spectrum of visible light, Frankie can use her power of chromokinesis to alter the wavelengths of light as they reflect from an object, effectively change its color as she chooses. Not only would the hue, saturation, and brightness of her subject would be entirely possible for her to alter, but patterns could be replicated and textures could be mimicked.
Power Limits:
The colors she creates in using her power, as light changes over time, will without fail fade within a couple of hours at most depending on a few conditions. The cellular stability of an object has great bearings on a lasting effect as well, lengthening the duration after recoloring of a solid object as opposed to such things as gasses, liquids, or forms of energy and plasma-- with all these, the result would last very shortly unless she were there to keep it going. After she has changed the color of her desired target, the power would still bear absolutely no applications toward offense or defense.
Although she can alter the color of anything within about fifty feet of herself, images or patterns are a different story, because the clearer she can see her target, the easier it would be to notice the subtler details in order to make changes to them. Such things as darkness, or anything that hinders her sight would only leave her to act on guesswork, often preventing her desired outcome. While within her ability, it would take keen focus to create patterns, images, or optical illusions, rather than editing preexisting ones. She also cannot change the sheen or translucense of an item, nor can she do more than feign or occlude a texture.

Brief Character History: Frankie, born to a happy nuclear family in Anaheim, enjoyed contentment among her household, where she could develop her affinity for the arts and share comfortably open communication with her parents and brother, Brian. Well-behaved, diligent, and dutiful during her school years, Frankie fought a slight emotional struggle to leave her family in order to attend the University of Phoenix-- even though she was rewarded with the college courses she wanted. Majoring in graphic design, she took a job on the side modeling for small venues, such as catalogues and posters.
There was a particularly frustrating day during her senior year, where she wound up changing the entire color scheme of her bathroom, forcing herself to stay inside for much longer than normal, panicked, despite her roommates' complaints. Reaching the peak of her desire to leave, Frankie rushed to turn off the light and flee to her room, where she collapsed on the bed. Hugging a pillow whose colors she kept changing, she hoped none of her roommates would notice something was wrong.
Frankie withdrew herself initially, but she learned that her miserable uncertainty was best supported by her loved ones. Thus, she aimed to contact her older brother, claiming she underwent odd experiences just credible enough to believe. Facing a busy career of his own, Brian never seemed to have the time to console his younger sister, and since Frankie withheld the truth about herself, her friends were also unable to help. Nowadays, she tries to understand herself through different perspectives, but she finds the road to normalcy is hard to traverse.
