Hello, again, everybody!
Here, I'll go over something we'll be doing on VI. On some forums, you're expected to post every dark corner of your character's ability in their application, and let's be honest, it's for good reason. Many people try to pull rabbits out of their hats as they try to god-mode, or try to create loopholes, etc.
However, we're going to do something a little different on Variable Intricacy.
As shown in the show, characters develop, and so do their abilities. Those abilities evolve. They grow, and later take on additional faculties. So how can we reflect this through our character development on the site if your application must include the full version of your power? The answer is: it doesn't necessarily have to.
However, you are advised to try to get down everything in the application that you're going for in the application for a good while. This option will not be considered for characters who have only recently been created.
Character Evolution is a kind of Character Development on the site that adds to the depth of ways in which your character can grow. This basically refers to when your character's ability takes on a new facet; a new application. There are certain prerequisites that must first be met, however.
The process will go a little something like this. First, these pre-requisites must be met.
This may sound like a lot of requirements, but ability evolution is not to be taken lightly or done simply because one forgot to complete their power. This is meant specifically for character growth, not so that a player can amass wealth. Note, this does not include the plotted course for your character's growth as you have already established as of writing your application. It's common to say in your application that some ability faculties may be unlocked at a later time, but bear in mind that you should give your character time to get a lot of posts out and personal plot developed before you make these 'growth' steps.
In other words, you should not jump from newbie to veteran inside of 100 posts. Some changes proposed in your application may be big enough that your reviewer may stamp them to be put through by this system, so that they are paced into your character's development evenly and at a realistic pace, but the administration reserves the right to make exceptions where deemed necessary.
This system is more in place for those who are making changes to their abilities that they did not previously think to do, as a form of character growth.
Lastly, here is the link to the thread in which the application is filled out and reviewed for these milestones!

Once again, remember: ultimately, Staff reserves the right to use their discretion in every case, and judgements are made on a case-by-case basis.

- Your character has made 100 posts.
- Your character is not 150 posts within an Character Evolution milestone.
- Your character is not within two months of your latest milestone.
- Your character must have been active for over two months per milestone you have recieved and including the one you are applying for (If you've played 6 months, and recieved three milestones, it's too soon to apply for another).
- You have appropriately filled out the Character Evolution application and applied for your milestone in the appropriate forum.
